Senior Fabric Engineer Consultant

Hybrid | Sydney preferred (Australia-based) | Full-time A senior Fabric engineer role for someone (actually a number of you are needed) who can design and build modern data platforms on Microsoft Fabric, then help clients get real value from them. This is delivery-focused consulting work across multiple projects.

What this person will be doing

· Building Fabric solutions across Lakehouse, OneLake, Data Factory/pipelines, Notebooks, Warehouse, and semantic models

· Designing modern data architecture patterns (lakehouse, medallion, dimensional modelling)

· Implementing strong engineering practices (source control, CI/CD, setting promotion)

· Supporting migration and transformation programs

· Working directly with clients, running workshops, and balancing multiple priorities

What is needed

· Hands-on Fabric delivery experience (primary technology)

· Azure data platform exposure (ADF, Azure SQL, Synapse, Storage)

· Strong Python and SQL, including Spark-based transformations and tuning

· CI/CD experience using Azure DevOps and/or GitHub

· Full Australian work rights and Australia-based
