About the role

Canning Vale Dental Centre is seeking a talented and compassionate Dentist to join our growing team in Canning Vale, Western Australia. This is a full-time position offering an exciting opportunity to deliver high-quality dental care to our diverse patient community. As a Dentist, you will play a pivotal role in providing comprehensive dental services, maintaining clinical excellence, and contributing to the overall success of our practice.

You will work collaboratively with our experienced team to ensure every patient receives exceptional care in a welcoming and professional environment.

Please note that we are located in two locations

Key responsibilities

- Conduct thorough patient examinations and diagnose dental conditions using clinical assessment and diagnostic tools
- Develop and implement individualised treatment plans tailored to each patient's specific needs and preferences
- Perform a wide range of dental procedures including fillings, extractions, root canal treatments, and preventative care
- Provide evidence-based treatment recommendations to patients and educate them on oral hygiene and dental health
- Maintain accurate and detailed patient records in compliance with relevant regulations and practice protocols
- Ensure all clinical work meets the highest standards of quality and safety
- Collaborate effectively with dental hygienists, assistants, and other team members to optimise patient care
- Adhere to infection control protocols and maintain a clean and secure clinical environment




- Contribute to the professional development of junior team members where applicable
- Stay current with contemporary dental practices and professional development requirements

What we're looking for

- A valid Dental degree (BDSc or equivalent) recognised in Australia
- Current registration with the Dental Board of Australia
- Proven experience practising as a dentist, ideally within a general dental practice setting
- Strong clinical skills with the ability to deliver high-quality, patient-centred care
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities to build rapport with patients and colleagues
- A commitment to continuing professional development and staying abreast of industry advances
- Proficiency in using dental practice management software and digital imaging systems
- A collaborative approach to teamwork with a focus on supporting colleagues
- Strong organisational and time management skills
- A genuine passion for oral health and patient wellbeing
