Corporate Diversity Pathways (CDP) has been exclusively appointed by The Australian National University (ANU) to lead the search for its next Deputy Director, Philanthropy.
This is a significant leadership opportunity within ANU Advancement for an experienced philanthropy leader who can lead people, build high-value relationships and help shape fundraising strategy across one of Australia’s leading universities.
Reporting within the Advancement leadership team, the Deputy Director will lead a diverse team of philanthropy professionals and work closely with senior University leaders, academics, donors, prospects, foundations, corporations and partners.
The role will be central to building philanthropic support for priorities that advance ANU’s ambitions and contribute to outcomes of national and global significance.
The chance The successful candidate will:
- Lead, develop and support a high-performing philanthropy team.
- Build and steward significant relationships with donors, prospects and partners.
- Contribute to the development and delivery of institution-wide philanthropy strategy.
- Partner with senior University leaders and academics to translate priorities into compelling philanthropic opportunities.
- Support the continued growth and sophistication of philanthropy across ANU.
- Play an active role in delivering the University’s broader strategic ambitions.
We are particularly interested in speaking with experienced fundraising and advancement leaders who combine strong major-gift capability with people leadership, strategic thinking and the ability to build trusted relationships across complex organisations.
