Skills and areas of expertise

- 2+ years' experience in a Desktop Support, Service Desk or IT Support role
- Experience supporting Windows desktop operating systems and Microsoft 365 applications
- Valuable working knowledge of Active Directory, Group Policy and user administration
- Experience supporting Exchange Online, Teams and SharePoint
- Ability to troubleshoot desktop, laptop, mobile device and peripheral issues
- Good understanding of networking fundamentals including TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VPN and Wi‑Fi




- Experience using helpdesk ticketing systems and following support processes
- Knowledge of endpoint security, patch management and device deployment
- Ability to document procedures, maintain asset registers and create knowledge base articles
- Exposure to Azure and cloud technologies would be highly regarded
- Understanding of backup processes and business continuity concepts
- Knowledge of ITIL practices would be advantageous
