Over 3,000 lawyers across 200+ firms already use it. Our platform reduces complexity and delivers clarity in high-stakes legal work.

Security, trust, and integrity are at the heart of what we do, handling sensitive data demands it. We’re expanding our infrastructure to support growth in Australia and internationally, and we’re looking for someone to spearhead our DevOps engineering team.

The Role The Cloud DevOps Engineer will design, build, and maintain secure cloud infrastructure to support our applications and services. Working closely with developers and product teams, you will own scaling, observability, CI/CD pipelines, and our security posture, ensuring our systems are reliable, scalable, and ready to expand globally. You’ll be our first dedicated DevOps hire, shaping the foundation of our practice and setting the stage for future team growth.

Key Responsibilities

- Design, build, and maintain cloud infrastructure with a primary focus on AWS, while leveraging Azure and GCP where appropriate to support business needs.
- Optimise infrastructure for AI workloads, including GPU-enabled clusters and throughput scaling (TPM)



across Azure, AWS, and GCP as we expand model deployment and inference capacity.
- Own the IAC, implemented through terraform.
- Automate provisioning, scaling, configuration, and monitoring to reduce manual effort.
- Deepen our observability so failures arrive with the context needed for fast diagnosis, by engineers and AI tooling alike.
- Embed security best practices across infrastructure, pipelines, and deployments, enabling our SOC 2 certification attainment.
- Support our compliance team with security questionnaires and control management.

Qualifications & Experience

- 5+ years in DevOps, Cloud, or SRE roles.
- Solid expertise in AWS and exposure to Azure/GCP is a plus.
- Proficiency with Terraform and configuration management.
- Hands-on experience with CI/CD pipelines and automation (Python, Bash, Github Actions).
- Strong understanding of cloud security principles (IAM, encryption, vulnerability scanning, monitoring).
- SRE foundations extending on our observability stack.
- Experience with containerisation/orchestration (Docker, Kubernetes) is desirable.
- Solid troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently, take ownership, and lead by example.
