Position: Diesel/ Motor Mechanic

Annual Pay: $110,000 - $125,000

Job Type: Full-time, Permanent

Shift & Schedule: 8-hour shift/ Shift work

Work Eligibility: Australian work authorization

We are looking for an industry experienced Diesel Fitter/Mechanic to join our organization.

Location –Narangba QLD

Salary -negotiable in the range $110-125k per annum, net superannuation per annum

Employment Status - Full-Time Permanent

Glendun Group Pty Ltd is seeking a skilled and experience Diesel Fitter/ Diesel Motor Mechanic.

Suitable candidates are expected to be able to perform the following duties:

· Diagnostics & Fault Finding: Access ECU/CPU on-board systems and interpret electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic schematics to accurately diagnose mechanical and electrical faults.

· Repair & Maintenance: Dismantle, repair, and rebuild internal combustion engines, transmissions, steering, suspension, and braking systems across our fleet, plant, and machinery.

· Servicing & Records: Complete scheduled logbook servicing and preventative maintenance while maintaining accurate machine hours and service records.

· Workshop Coordination:



Plan daily workshop tasks efficiently and coordinate parts procurement and inventory.

· Training & Support: Conduct pre-start and basic maintenance training for Plant Operators.

· Field Support: Operate and test-drive machinery for diagnostic purposes, and attend occasional out-of-hours breakdowns/field retrievals when required.

· Safety First: Ensure all work complies with WHS regulations, industry standards, and company policies, maintaining all tools and PPE correctly.

Skills and experience requirement

· trade qualification/apprenticeship and/or at least 3 years full time work experience, for the position

· Ability to maintain strong attention to detail

· Excellent communication and time management skills

· Ability to work under pressure and to multi-task

· Interpersonal skills with the ability to liaise with people at all levels

· Ability to work effectively within a team setting and also independently

· A willingness to support the business as it grows
