The Opportunity
We are currently seeking experienced, trade-qualified Diesel Fitters to join our team on a FIFO roster across Western Australia.
You'll play a vital role in maintaining and repairing heavy mobile mining equipment, ensuring reliability, safety, and maximum uptime across site.
Key Responsibilities
- Diagnose faults and carry out repairs on heavy mobile plant
- Perform scheduled servicing and preventative maintenance
- Complete breakdown repairs and component change-outs
- Carry out rebuilds and major equipment repairs
- Interpret technical manuals and OEM service information
- Complete accurate service reports and maintenance documentation
- Maintain a strong commitment to site safety and company procedures
Equipment Experience (Highly Regarded) Experience working on any of the following:
- Caterpillar
- Komatsu
- Hitachi
- Sandvik
- Epiroc
What We're Looking For
- Australian recognised Trade Qualification (Heavy Diesel Mechanic/Diesel Fitter)
- Previous mining experience (preferred)
- Strong fault-finding and diagnostic skills
- Commitment to safety and quality workmanship
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Current Australian Driver's Licence
- Ability to pass a Pre-Employment Medical and Drug & Alcohol Screening
