We are seeking a Digital Design & Technology Coordinator to support the effective delivery of projects through the consistent and high-quality use of BIM and digital design technologies across our Sydney and Melbourne studios. This role is ideal for an experienced architectural professional with a passion for digital innovation, BIM coordination, workflow optimisation, and supporting project teams to deliver exceptional design outcomes.

About The Role

We are seeking a proactive and technically skilled Digital Design & Technology Coordinator with 3-5 years'

experience in architecture or design technology within an architectural practice.

The role focuses on project-level BIM coordination, digital workflow improvement, implementation of standards, automation initiatives, technical support, staff mentoring, and collaboration with project teams to enhance digital capability across the practice.





You will act as a key link between project teams and the broader Digital Design & Technology leadership group, ensuring digital models, data, and workflows align with NBRS standards, project requirements, and industry best practice.

Key Responsibilities Include

- Support project teams with BIM coordination and digital design technology workflows
- Ensure consistent application of NBRS BIM standards and project delivery requirements
- Develop, maintain and improve Revit content, templates, families, schedules and digital resources
- Provide hands-on technical support to project teams across Sydney and Melbourne studios
- Assist in the implementation and adoption of digital design standards, workflows and best practices
- Conduct digital workflow reviews and identify opportunities for process improvement
- Support automation initiatives and digital innovation trials across the practice
- Mentor and train staff in BIM workflows, digital tools and emerging technologies
- Collaborate with project teams to resolve modelling and documentation challenges
- Assist with model management, data integrity and coordination processes
- Contribute to the evaluation and integration of new digital technologies, including AI-enabled workflows
- Support collaboration platforms and Common Data Environments (CDEs) where required

About You

- A recognised degree or certificate in Architecture or a related discipline
- 3-5 years' experience in Architecture or a Design Technology role within an architectural practice

- Experience in architectural project delivery is essential
- Strong working knowledge of Revit is essential
- Understanding of Australian Standards, NCC and BCA requirements
- Experience creating and managing Revit families, materials, schedules and parametric content
- Understanding of Revit database structures,



model data management and programming for workflow enhancement is desirable
- Experience working with Autodesk Construction Cloud (ACC) and/or Autodesk Forma is desirable
- Strong knowledge of AutoCAD and Rhino3D
- Experience with Rhino-to-Revit workflows is highly regarded
- Strong capability across Microsoft Office applications
- Familiarity with AI and machine learning tools that support digital design workflows
- Ability to work across multiple projects of varying scale, complexity and delivery stages
- Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to make sound decisions in non-standard situations
- Excellent verbal, graphic and written communication skills
- Strong interpersonal skills with a collaborative and positive approach
- Demonstrated initiative and a proactive mindset
