Seventh-Day Adventist Schools Victoria Ltd is seeking an enthusiastic ELC Educator to join the Early Learning team at Heritage College ELC (Narre Warren South campus). This is a full-time permanent position to commence Term 1, 2027.

Heritage College Early Learning Centre is a nurturing, inclusive, Christian Early Education and Care service that provides high-quality long day care with an integrated Kindergarten program for 3 - 5-year-olds. Our focus is to create the foundation for lifelong learning through innovative, creative, and child-focused teaching practices.

We are seeking passionate, dynamic ELC Educator to support the wonder, delight and intrigue of childhood through planned and spontaneous experiences that inspire children to ask questions, investigate, challenge themselves and build friendships. At Heritage College ELC NWS, we use a play-based educational program that is supported with inquiry-based learning, co-constructed by children and Educators with families input incorporating school readiness and individual children's development.

As an ELC Educator, you will work collaboratively with the team to create a safe, engagin and inclusive environment where every child feels values, supported and encouraged to learn and grow.

The successful candidate will demonstrate that they:

- Have a strong passion for early childhood education
- Contribute to and implement a play-based educational program that responds to children?s interests, strengths, needs and individual development.
- Support the creation and maintenance of engaging indoor and outdoor learning environments that encourage children to explore, investigate, develop confidence and build positive relationships.
- Have an understanding of the Victorian Early Years Learning and Development Framework (VEYLDF),



National Quality Standard (NQS) and relevant Early Childhood Education and Care regulations.
- Contribute to observations, documentation and assessments of children?s learning and development.
- Build and maintain positive, respectful and collaborative relationships with children, families and colleagues.
- Work effectively as part of an ELC team and contribute to a supportive, inclusive and nurturing learning environment.
- Demonstrate a commitment to child safety, wellbeing and maintaining a high standard of professional practice.

Requirements:
- Diploma qualification or completed an approved ACECQA qualification in Early Childhood
- Valid Victorian Working with Children Check
- Current certificates in First Aid, Emergency Asthma Management and Anaphylaxis Management (or a willingness to obtain training in these areas)




- Excellent communication skills ? both verbal and written

Screening Requirements:
- Reference checks will be undertaken including referencing your ability to work safely with children
- Position is subject to maintaining registration with VIT

The salary range is $33.96 -$37.65 per hour, depending on qualifications and years of experience.
