Details: The ACT Courts and Tribunal is seeking an experienced data and analytics professional to temporarily fill the position of Director, Data Analytics and Governance within the Corporate Information Systems team.
The successful applicant will lead the Data Analytics and Governance team, maintain key reporting and data services, progress priority projects, and provide strategic and technical advice to executives and stakeholders.
Strong leadership, stakeholder management, and experience in enterprise data warehousing, data integration, analytics and governance are highly desirable. Experience with SQL, Microsoft SQL Server Integration Services, Power BI, IBM Cognos Analytics and dimensional modelling would be an advantage.

Eligibility/Other requirements:
- Experience in leading data and analytics functions, managing senior stakeholders, gathering and translating reporting requirements, and developing Power BI reports is highly desirable.
- Experience with enterprise data platforms, SQL, IBM Cognos Analytics or similar technologies, and delivering user training would be an advantage.
Notes:
This is temporary position available from 25 November 2026 until 24 December 2026 with the possibility of extension up to six months.Selection may be based on application and referee reports only. A Merit Pool will be established from this selection process and will be used to fill vacancies over the next 12 months. This position will be moving to a new workplace designed for activity-based working (ABW). Under ABW arrangements, officers will not have a designated workstation/desk. This position is available to ACT Government officers and employees only.
