About the role
We are expanding our support team and looking for experienced, reliable, and highly professional Disability Support Workers across South East Queensland. We want dedicated professionals who understand that quality support is about empowering participants to live the life they choose—respecting their goals, routines, personalities, and independence. No two shifts—and no two participants—are the same.
As our team grows, flexibility is essential. You must be comfortable working with multiple clients across various locations and adapting to different care needs.
Key responsibilities

- Supporting community access, transport to appointments, shopping, going to the gym, fishing, or simply grabbing a coffee
- Manual handling, hoisting, seizure monitoring, and complex care (where qualified and competent)
- Writing accurate progress notes, documenting incident reports, and strictly following Support Plans and Positive Behaviour Support Plans (PBSP)
- Positive Behaviour Support (PBS), de-escalation, and trauma-informed care
- Support for psychosocial disability,
Autism, ABI, Dementia, or Mental Health
- Manual handling, hoisting, PEG feeding, catheter/bowel care, or epilepsy management
About you
- NDIS Worker Screening Clearance & Blue Card
- Current First Aid & CPR Certification
- Valid Driver's License and reliable, insured vehicle
- Relevant qualifications (Cert III/IV in Individual Support, Disability, or Mental Health preferred) or equivalent hands-on experience
- Professional & Boundary-Focused: Able to build warmth and rapport while maintaining clear, strict professional boundaries and respecting privacy
- Non-Judgemental & Respectful: Meets participants where they are without imposing personal beliefs, lifestyle choices, or values
- Dependable & Accountable: Arrives on time, values consistency, accepts feedback gracefully, and follows instructions
- Safety & Escalation Aware: Balances non-judgemental care with a solid understanding of duty of care, safeguarding, and knowing when to report risks
