Nepean Hospital is a teaching hospital that provides tertiary referral services in emergency care, coronary care, diagnostics, gynaecology, paediatric, neonatal intensive care/ICU, maternity, mental health, rehabilitation, and surgery. The Nepean Campus has recently experienced tremendous growth and aims to support communities within and outside of Sydney’s western suburbs, providing world-class clinical facilities, services, and care.

Bring your strong organisational skills and professionalism to a role that plays an important part in supporting the Nepean Cancer Service. We are seeking a Division Secretary to provide high-level executive, secretarial and reception support to the Nepean Cancer Service Executive Team.

In this role, you will provide comprehensive administrative support while utilising your strong knowledge of office systems and procedures,



high standard of accuracy and ability to meet tight deadlines. The position requires a high level of professionalism, discretion and confidentiality, along with the flexibility to respond to changing priorities and service needs.

To be successful in this role, you will have excellent organisational and communication skills, strong attention to detail and the ability to work effectively in a busy environment. What you will bring to the role

1. Demonstrated capacity to provide effective and professional administrative support, in confidence and with discretion
2. Well-developed interpersonal, verbal and communication skills, with the ability to communicate with management and staff at all levels
3. Experience in responding to a range of enquiries and determining the appropriate response in a complex work environment
4. Demonstrated proficiency in the use of computer applications including HPRM, Outlook, MS Office Suite, rostering and procurement systems
5. Strong organisational skills with demonstrated ability to plan, organise, set priorities and meet deadlines
6. Adaptable to change with high attention to detail
7. Demonstrated written communication skills including preparation of reports, briefings, minutes and agendas, spreadsheets and databases
8. Demonstrated ability to achieve results at the individual level and as a member of a dynamic team
