Raywell Contracting are seeking operators to join our team based 20 minutes from Busselton, Western Australia. This is a full time role for 6 months, with the possibility of leading to ongoing work. You will operate a variety of heavy equipment and play a crucial role in our operation at the Yalyalup mineral sand mine.
What you'll be doing
1. Safely operating a range of heavy equipment such as dozers, excavators, loaders, haul trucks, and graders
2. Performing pre-start checks, routine maintenance, and minor repairs on machinery
3. Following all safety protocols and environmental regulations to ensure a safe and sustainable workplace
4. Providing support to other members of the operations team as required
5. Reporting any issues or concerns to supervisors in a timely manner
What we're looking for
1. Experience operating a variety of heavy equipment in a mining or construction environment
2. Flexible to occasionally operate articulated trucks
3. Demonstrated ability to work safely and efficiently, with a strong focus on quality and attention to detail

Excellent problem-solving and critical thinking skills to quickly identify and resolve issues
5. Reliable, adaptable, and able to work well as part of a team
6. Current driver's licence and relevant machinery operating licenses/tickets
