About us The Range Community Kindergarten has been part of the Mapleton and wider Blackall Range community for almost 40 years. Our kindergarten is shaped by strong relationships, play, creativity, connection with nature and a respect for childhood as a meaningful time in its own right. We value children having time to become deeply engaged in their ideas, relationships and play. We believe there is value in observing closely, listening carefully and allowing children's thinking to unfold before deciding what might come next. We value environments that invite children to explore, imagine, make, move, question and wonder.
Our connection with nature extends beyond spending time outdoors or using natural materials. We want children to develop a meaningful relationship with the land, living things, seasons and places that form part of their everyday experience at Kindy.
The Range
Kindy is affiliated with Lady Gowrie Queensland and delivers an approved kindergarten program within the National Quality Framework and Queensland kindergarten context.
