We're growing! In January 2027, Y Community School opens its doors to a brand-new junior campus for year 7-9 students, and we want you to help us build it. As an Educational Youth Worker, you'll be part of our new junior campus' learning support team, mentoring and supporting our newest students.

What's the opportunity? As an Educational Youth Worker with Y Community School, you'll mentor, guide and be a positive role model for students in years 7 to 9 at our junior campus. From in class support to excursions, you'll collaborate with teachers and use technology to help create a positive, supportive learning environment.

This is a full time,



permanent opportunity based at our junior campus in Epping, commencing Term 1 2027.

Relevant knowledge and skills

- Cert IV in Youth Work or equivalent.
- Current Employee Working with Children Check.
- National Police Check (and International Police Check if you have lived outside Australia in the last five years).
- Current First Aid (HLTAID011) and CPR (HLTAID009), or willingness to obtain.
- Demonstrated experience working with students in an educational setting.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively with teachers, staff and parents.
- Familiarity with technology to support student learning.
