As an Endorsed Enrolled Nurse in the Acute Surgical Unit (ASU), you will work alongside Registered Nurses to provide high-quality pre- and post-operative care for patients across a diverse range of specialties, including General Surgery, Orthopaedics, Urology, Gynaecology, Colorectal, Head & Neck and Trauma.With short patient stays and a high turnover of patients, ASU offers an exciting environment to build your clinical skills and gain experience across a wide range of surgical presentations and procedures. You will work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team and develop your skills in areas such as wound management, surgical drains, bladder irrigation, infusions and blood transfusions, while being supported by experienced nursing leaders.The Nurse Unit Manager, Clinical Nurse Educator and Clinical Nurse Specialists are committed to supporting your ongoing education, professional development and career progression.
