About the Role The firm currently has a small employment law team, and it is seeking a senior lawyer to take over and head up the employment law practice. This is an exciting opportunity for a Senior Associate seeking to step up into a practice leadership role or a current leader seeking a new opportunity.

The practice includes a variety of employment law work including:

- Advising employers on contracts, policies and workplace compliance;
- Working on unfair dismissals, general protections and other employment disputes;
- Drafting, reviewing and negotiating employment contracts and contractor agreements;
- Workplace investigations, performance and misconduct issues.

About You To be successful in this role, you will have:

- 6+ years PQE, specifically in employment law, gained from a reputable Australian employment law practice;




- Excellent technical legal skills and experience in all aspects of employment law;
- Commercial acumen;
- Passion for this area of law;
- Leadership experience or a genuine desire to lead and grow a team.
