Role Description This full-time, on-site Energy Consultant role is based in Sutherland, NSW and involves advising residential and commercial customers on optimal solar and energy solutions.

The Energy

Consultant will meet with clients, assess energy usage, and develop tailored proposals that address efficiency, cost savings, and sustainability goals.

Responsibilities include explaining product options, preparing quotes, supporting the sales process from initial contact to closing, and coordinating with installation and technical teams to ensure accurate system design. The role also involves maintaining up-to-date knowledge of the solar and broader energy industry, monitoring market trends,



and providing clear, ethical guidance to customers. Daily tasks include managing a pipeline of leads, documenting consultations, and contributing to continuous improvement of sales and consulting practices.

Qualifications

- Strong consulting skills, including needs analysis, solution design, and clear client communication.
- Knowledge of energy management principles and practical approaches to improving efficiency.
- Understanding of solar and broader energy industry trends, technologies, and regulatory considerations.
- Proven sales abilities, including lead management, negotiation, and closing customer agreements.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to explain technical concepts in accessible terms.
- Comfort working on-site with customers and collaborating with internal technical and installation teams.
- Basic proficiency with CRM systems and productivity tools (e.g., email, spreadsheets, presentation software).
- Relevant experience in solar, energy, or related fields is preferred; formal training or certification in energy or sustainability is an advantage.
- Valid driver’s license and ability to travel within Sydney and the Illawarra as required.
