Full time Temporary Position

Tara Anglican School for Girls is seeking a passionate and capable English Teacher for a full-time block placement during Term 1, 2027.

This temporary opportunity has arisen to support the School's staffing needs and provides an excellent chance for an enthusiastic educator to join a high-performing English faculty and contribute meaningfully to student learning. While this is a fixed-term appointment for Term 1, the successful candidate will become part of a collaborative and supportive school community committed to excellence in teaching and learning.

As a leading independent Anglican school for girls, Tara offers both the NSW Higher School Certificate (HSC) and the International Baccalaureate Diploma Programme (IBDP), providing rich and engaging pathways for students and teachers alike.

About the Role The successful candidate will:

- Teach English across a range of Secondary year levels.

- Support students in developing effective communication, analytical, and writing skills.
- Work collaboratively with colleagues to maintain high standards of teaching and learning.

About You

You will be

- A qualified teacher with NESA accreditation (or eligibility for accreditation) in NSW.




- Experienced in teaching Secondary English or a graduate teacher with strong subject knowledge and enthusiasm for the profession.
- Committed to creating engaging and inclusive learning environments.
- A collaborative team member who values professional growth and reflective practice.
- An excellent communicator who builds positive relationships with students, colleagues, and families.
