Enrolled Nurse (EN) – Aged Care | Casual Agency Shifts

Caring Hands Health Care is seeking compassionate, reliable and experienced Enrolled Nurses (ENs) to join our growing team and provide high-quality nursing care across our Aged Care provider network.

This position is ideal for Enrolled Nurses who are looking for flexible casual shifts, additional hours, and the opportunity to work across multiple aged care facilities.

We are looking for ENs who have previous aged care experience, strong clinical skills and a genuine commitment to providing safe, respectful and person-centred care to older Australians.

Key Responsibilities

As an Enrolled Nurse, your responsibilities may include:

- Providing secure, high-quality and person-centred nursing care to residents.
- Administering medications within your scope of practice and in accordance with facility policies.
- Performing wound care, clinical observations and other nursing duties within EN scope of practice.
- Monitoring residents' health status and promptly escalating any deterioration or clinical concerns to the Registered Nurse.
- Working collaboratively with RNs, PCWs, allied health professionals and other members of the care team.
- Supporting the implementation of individualised care plans.
- Maintaining accurate, timely and professional clinical documentation.
- Providing respectful care while promoting residents' dignity, choice, independence and quality of life.
- Following infection prevention and control procedures, workplace health and safety requirements and facility policies.




- Working in accordance with the Aged Care Quality Standards and professional standards of practice.

Essential Requirements To be considered for this position, you must have:
- Current AHPRA registration as an Enrolled Nurse (EN).
- Minimum 6 months' nursing experience in Australia after completing clinical placements, preferably in aged care.
- Previous aged care experience is highly desirable.
- Good understanding of aged care clinical practices and the Aged Care Quality Standards.
- Current National Police Check.
- Current First Aid and CPR certification.
- Current NDIS Worker Screening Check, where required.
- Evidence of relevant vaccinations in accordance with facility requirements.
- Strong communication, documentation and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
- Ability and willingness to travel and work across multiple aged care facilities/sites.
- Valid Australian driver's licence and reliable transport.

Pay: $46.00 – $90.00 per hour
