What you will do:

n

Evaluating the medical history and the movement and functional abilities of new patients

n

Developing treatment plans based on medical diagnoses

n

Providing patients with massage therapy to relieve soft tissue pain

n

Mobilizing and manipulating muscles and joints

n

Giving patients exercises designed to strengthen and increase their motor abilities

n

Showing patients exercises that they can perform on their own at home (and correcting any incorrect posture / movements)

n

Keeping updated patient records detailing all therapy provided (i.e. treatment and results)

n

Adjusting plans and prescribing new treatment, where necessary

n





Community based work with travel and seeing various client types across all ages

n

You will also be responsible for:

n

Provide clinical and operational leadership to a team of physiotherapists working across paediatric and adult caseloads under the NDIS. Offer mentorship, guidance, and support to ensure high-quality, person-centred care.

n

Conduct regular supervision sessions, performance reviews, and individual development plans. Foster a culture of continuous learning and professional grow

n

Look at completing AT assessment and reports independently for specialized AT

n

Provide regular updates and reports to management regarding team performance, client outcomes, and areas for development

n

Maintain a small clinical caseload (paediatrics/adults) to stay connected to practice while supporting the broader team

n

Ensure all documentation, reporting, and clinical notes meet professional standards and NDIS audit requirements

n

Be able to effectively supervise PT and AHA students in clinic

n

Give opportunity to new grads to observe

n

Be a buddy for new grad Physiotherapists

n

Participate in MDT training and workshops

n

Begin to build skills in particular clinical areas

n
