About the Business

Our client is a fast-growing, well-capitalised battery storage and renewables platform, backed by a global infrastructure investor with a multi-billion dollar track record across energy, digital infrastructure and real assets. The business is developing and constructing one of the most active battery storage pipelines in Australia, with projects already through financial close and into construction, alongside a rapidly expanding development book. This is genuine deal flow, not a slow trickle.

About the Role

You'll join a lean, high-ownership Investment team, reporting to the VP who leads it. There's no layer of hierarchy between you and the deals here. From day one, you'll be running financial models, managing live transactions end to end, and working directly with the Development team to build their understanding of bankability and investability as projects mature.

Core responsibilities:

n

Own and run the financial models that underpin every transaction, from project cashflows to investment analysis
n Manage transactions and stakeholders as deals progress, coordinating internal teams, advisers, lenders and investors through to completion
n Interface directly with the Development team, upskilling them on bankability and investability

What we're looking for:

n

Genuine transactional experience in Development or Advisory, with real exposure to live deals rather than purely analytical support
n Strong, hands-on financial modelling capability across project cashflows and investment analysis
n Experience in infrastructure and renewables, ideally battery storage (BESS). Venture capital backgrounds are less relevant here
n A track record of driving your own progression, whether through fast promotion, a secondment, or a deliberate move into energy and climate
n Comfort managing stakeholders, internal and external, under pressure and to deadline
