About the role

These roles ensure clinical care is delivered in accordance with qualified standards, organisational policies, and the Aged Care Quality Standards.

There are two fortnightly rosters available with all shifts from 1600 - 2100:

1. Week 1 - Mon, Tues, Wed and Sun, Week 2 - Mon, Tue and Sun
2. Week 1 - Thurs, Fri and Sat, Week 2 - Wed, Thu, Fri, and Sat

Key Responsibilities

- Deliver safe, high-quality, person-centred care to residents
- Identify clinical observations and changes in resident condition promptly and report accurately to the Registered Nurse in Charge
- Perform medication administration safely, within scope of practice, and in full compliance with standards
- Ensure documentation is complete, accurate, and meets legal and organisational requirements
- Support residents and families to improve understanding of health conditions and care plans
- Communicate effectively to support coordinated, continuous care within the multidisciplinary team and with the Registered Nurse in Charge
- Contribute to quality and safety improvements, including falls prevention and infection control

About you

- Diploma of Nursing (or equivalent) and current enrolment as an Enrolled Nurse with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia (NMBA)
- Demonstrated clinical nursing experience, preferably within aged care or a related healthcare setting
- Current CPR certification




- Medication endorsement (Certificate IV in Administration of Medication or NMBA-approved equivalent program)
- Knowledge of Aged Care Quality Standards, infection prevention and control practices, and clinical risk management relevant to the Enrolled Nurse scope of practice
- Commitment to safe, person-centred, and evidence-based practice
- Proficient in clinical documentation and use of electronic care management systems
- Ability to work collaboratively with staff and multidisciplinary teams and communicate effectively with families and other stakeholders
- NDIS Worker Screening Check or willingness to obtain prior to commencement
- Evidence of current Influenza Vaccination, COVID-19 vaccination and booster

Court was established as a not-for-profit organisation by the Rotary Club of Werribee in 1973. Since then, Manor Court has expanded its services to meet the changing needs of the community while maintaining its roots as a community-focused alternative for residents.

We offer permanent, respite, and dementia care as well as some disability services through the National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS). Our home is located a short walk from Werribee Station, numerous bus stops and the local shopping precinct. We are a community-owned, not-for-profit entity and employ passionate, trained and motivated individuals who share our main goal of providing high-quality care to our residents.
