Confidential Prospect: Estimator, Specialist Contracting Division (WA)

Keystone People Solutions is recruiting on behalf of a confidential Western Australian client for an Estimator within its specialist contracting division.

About the Opportunity

Our client's contracting division delivers installation solutions for civil, resources and water infrastructure projects across Western Australia. This role reports to the division's General Manager.

About the Role

You will prepare accurate cost estimates and tender submissions, working closely with suppliers, subcontractors and the project delivery team to turn estimates into profitable, deliverable projects.

What You'll Do

- Prepare detailed cost estimates and quotations for supply and installation projects
- Review tender documentation, drawings and specifications
- Carry out quantity take offs for materials, labour and equipment
- Source and negotiate pricing with suppliers and subcontractors




- Attend site visits and pre tender meetings
- Prepare and submit tender and proposal documentation to deadline
- Maintain a database of historical pricing and estimating benchmarks

About You

- Trade or tertiary qualification in civil construction, engineering or a related field, or equivalent experience
- Demonstrated estimating experience in civil, geotechnical or related contracting
- Strong numeracy and ability to read technical drawings and specifications
- Proficiency with estimating software and Excel
- Effective negotiation and communication skills
- WA driver's licence
