Master Builders is the leading industry association in NSW. We are chartered with representing and furthering the interests of those in the building and construction industry.

We offer advice and support to assist our members with the day to day running of their business. This includes safety, legal, industrial relations, insurance, apprenticeship and training.

We require a highly motivated person who has a proven track record in event coordination that can perform in a small team environment. The primary responsibility for this role is coordinating events from initial planning through to delivery and post-event evaluation, while ensuring a high level of service for members, attendees and stakeholders.

This role will be located at our Newcastle Office.

Key Responsibilities

- Assist in the delivery of our Events & Awards program.

- Work closely with internal stakeholders to understand event requirements, objectives and budgets.

- Coordinate venues, catering, equipment, transport, accommodation and other suppliers.

- Assist with marketing and promotional activities, including invitations, event materials and social media content.

- Liaise with venues, suppliers, contractors, speakers, sponsors and other event partners.

- Complete associated event administration.





- Assist with event budgets and expenditure tracking.

- Support the wider Events Team with multiple projects and priorities as required.

- Attend events and awards where required (Some travel required within NSW).

- Confident managing multiple tasks, deadlines and competing priorities

- Passionate about delivering high-quality events and exceptional customer experience

Qualifications & Experience

- Qualifications in event management preferred.

- Minimum 2 years event management experience.

- Experience CRM & Event Management systems preferred.

- Experience managing suppliers, budgets and event logistics is advantageous.
