Term Full time, vacancy up to 12 months.

The Executive Assistant (EA) is accountable to the Assistant Commissioner/Executive Director for the provision of high level, confidential secretarial, administrative and research support services thereby contributing to the achievement of Service objectives.

The EA will be required to frequently liaise with internal and external stakeholders, including those who may have sensitive and confidential requirements, necessitating a high level of professionalism.

The EA will also need to work proactively and effectively in a fast-paced environment whilst managing competing demands, using high level organisation skills with the ability to multitask, whilst considering current business imperatives and future business needs.

The incumbent must have a high level of verbal and written communication skills, the ability to think laterally, be proficient in Microsoft Office and have experience with, or the aptitude to learn, departmental business applications.

Special Conditions

- The incumbent must hold a current Australian work eligibility status and will be subject to a criminal history check.
- The incumbent may be assigned to other duties at this remuneration level or equivalent.
- Some out of hours work and intra/interstate travel may be required.
- The incumbent is required to participate in SAPOL’s iEngage program.

Salary ASO4 - $82,212 - $86.180 per annum.
