Carne & Cucina are looking for an experienced Section Waiter to join our team for approximately 15-20 hours per week.
This would suit someone who is studying, looking for a second job, or simply wants a few regular shifts in a quality restaurant environment.
Weekend availability is essential.
Previous full-service restaurant experience is essential.
About you
We’re looking for someone with genuine experience in a full-service restaurant who understands what good food and beverage service looks like.
You should be confident working in a busy restaurant and able to step into a section with minimal training on the fundamentals of service.
You’ll ideally have experience with:
- Working your own section in a busy restaurant
- Taking orders and providing attentive table service
- Running food and clearing tables efficiently
- Understanding food, wine and beverage service
- Communicating confidently with guests and the wider team
- Maintaining a high standard of service throughout a busy shift
- Working as part of a professional restaurant team
Previous full-service restaurant experience is essential. This position is not suitable for applicants whose hospitality experience is limited to fast food, takeaway, cafés or counter-service environments.
We’re looking for someone who already understands restaurant service and can confidently contribute from their first few shifts.
