Nova Civil is a privately owned Australian civil construction company, proudly operating since 2004. We’re known for delivering high-quality infrastructure projects and building long-term relationships with our clients based on trust, reliability, and results. Due to ongoing and upcoming projects, we’re seeking an experienced Civil Engineer—ideally a seasoned Sydney Water Engineer—to join our office & site team and lead civil groundworks and services delivery.

About the role*

This is a hands-on, site-based role, ideal for someone who enjoys variety, autonomy, and being on the ground where the action happens.

This is a hands-on, site-based role supporting multiple projects. You’ll work closely with Project Managers to ensure smooth project delivery from start to handover.



The role is predominantly night shift for the next 6 months but will vary over time.

Experience required

- 2–3 years’ experience as a Civil Engineer
- Seasoned experience with Sydney Water and drainage projects highly preferred
- Trade or tertiary qualification in Civil Engineering or similar
- Proven leadership and man-management skills
- Solid organisational and time management abilities
- Practical, hands-on approach with the ability to work well under pressure
- High competency in OH&S; standards
