Experienced Exhaust Fitter / 4WD Accessory Fitter – Full Time

Westside Exhaust & 4x4 – Ravenhall VIC

We are looking for an experienced Exhaust Fitter / 4WD Accessory Fitter to join our busy workshop on a full time basis.

This is not an entry-level position. Applicants MUST have a minimum of 3+ years’ experience in exhaust fitting and MUST be available to work Saturdays.

This is a varied, hands-on role where you will be involved in everything from speaking with customers and quoting jobs through to completing exhaust work, fabrication and fitting 4WD accessories.

About the Role

Your day-to-day duties will include:

- Quoting exhaust, fabrication and accessory jobs
- Answering phones and assisting customers with enquiries
- Booking and organising workshop jobs
- Fitting, repairing and modifying exhaust systems
- Custom exhaust fabrication and welding
- Diagnosing exhaust-related issues
- Completing jobs from quote through to final fitment
- Fitting a variety of 4WD accessories
- Identifying and ordering required parts
- Providing advice to customers on suitable exhaust and 4WD options
- Maintaining a clean and organised workshop
- Ensuring all work is completed safely and to a high standard

What We Are Looking For To be considered for this position, you MUST have:

- Minimum 3+ years’ experience as an Exhaust Fitter
- Availability to work Saturdays
- Strong welding and fabrication skills
- Experience fitting, modifying and repairing exhaust systems
- Good mechanical knowledge
- Confidence dealing directly with customers
- Ability to quote jobs accurately




- Ability to work independently and complete jobs from start to finish
- Strong attention to detail
- Pride in your workmanship
- Reliability and a strong work ethic
- Current Full Australian Driver Licence & MUST be able to drive Manual Vehicles

Experience with 4WDs, custom exhausts, performance exhaust systems and 4WD accessory fitting will be highly regarded.

About You

You will be someone who can hit the ground running and is confident taking ownership of a job from the initial customer enquiry through to completion.

We need someone who is comfortable speaking with customers, answering phones, quoting work and then getting on the tools and completing the job to a high standard.

You will be joining a busy workshop where no two days are exactly the same, so being organised, adaptable and able to work as part of a small team is important.
