Expression of Interest Bulk Earthworks Supervisors – Cairns Region, Queensland We are seeking Expressions of Interest from experienced Bulk Earthworks Supervisors to join a project in the Cairns region on a 2 week on, 1 week off roster. This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to a significant infrastructure project while leading high-performing crews in a dynamic and safety-focused environment.

As a Supervisor, you will play a critical role in overseeing daily earthworks operations, ensuring project objectives are achieved safely, efficiently, and to the highest quality standards.

Key Responsibilities

- Supervise and coordinate bulk earthworks activities across the project site
- Lead and mentor operators, labourers, subcontractors, and site crews
- Ensure works are delivered in accordance with project schedules and specifications
- Monitor productivity and resource utilisation to maximise operational performance
- Promote and maintain a strong safety culture across all site activities
- Conduct pre-start meetings, toolbox talks, and site inspections
- Manage compliance with environmental, quality, and safety requirements
- Liaise with project engineers, construction managers, and subcontractors

About You To be successful in this role, you will possess:

- Proven experience supervising bulk earthworks, civil construction, mining, or infrastructure projects
- Strong leadership and team management skills




- Sound understanding of earthmoving equipment, site operations, and construction methodologies
- Ability to interpret project plans, specifications, and construction drawings
- Robust communication and stakeholder management skills
- Commitment to maintaining a safe and productive work environment
- Current driver's licence
- Relevant industry certificates and qualifications

Highly Regarded

- Previous experience on large-scale civil, mining, transport, or infrastructure projects
- Certificate IV in Civil Construction Supervision or relevant experience
- Supervisor Qualification - G1, 8, 9
- RIIs and associated civil construction competencies
