Expression of Interest Engineering Opportunities – Cairns Region, Queensland

We are seeking Expressions of Interest from experienced and motivated engineering professionals to support the delivery of a project in the Cairns region on a 2 week on, 1 week off roster.

Opportunities may be available for:

- Senior Project Engineers
- Project Engineers
- Site Engineers

Key Responsibilities Depending on the role, responsibilities may include:

- Supporting the planning, execution, and delivery of project works
- Assisting with project scheduling, resource planning, and cost control
- Coordinating contractors, subcontractors, and site teams
- Preparing work packs, technical documentation, and project reports
- Monitoring project progress and identifying opportunities for improvement
- Ensuring works are completed in accordance with specifications, drawings, and project requirements
- Managing quality assurance and quality control processes
- Supporting procurement and contract administration activities
- Maintaining compliance with safety, environmental, and regulatory requirements
- Collaborating with construction, commercial, and client stakeholders

About You To be successful, you will possess:

- Tertiary qualifications in Engineering or a related discipline
- Previous experience within civil construction, bulk earthworks, infrastructure or mining




- Strong technical knowledge and problem-solving skills
- Ability to interpret engineering drawings, specifications, and technical documents
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
- Strong organisational and planning capabilities
- Commitment to safety, quality, and continuous improvement
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and relevant project management software

Highly Regarded
- Demonstrated experience in project delivery environments
- Knowledge of contract administration and commercial principles
- Chartered Engineer status or progress toward professional accreditation
- Experience with project management systems and scheduling software

Location Based near Cairns, Queensland, these opportunities may be offered on a local, DIDO, or FIFO basis depending on project requirements and candidate suitability.
