Key Responsibilities

- Service,maintainandrepairagriculturalandheavydieselmachinery
- Diagnosemechanical,hydraulic,electricalandelectronicfaults
- Workontractors,headers,combines,sprayers,seedersandotheragriculturalequipment
- Carryoutpreventativemaintenancetoreducemachinerydowntime
- Respondtomachinerybreakdownsandcompletefield-basedrepairswhenrequired
- Usediagnosticscantoolsandmodernequipmenttoidentifyandresolvefaults
- Repairengines,transmissions,hydraulics,drivelinesandelectricalsystems
- Inspectmachineryandidentifypotentialmechanicalissuesbeforemajorbreakdownsoccur
- Completerepairsandservicingefficientlyduringpeakagriculturalseasons




- Fabricate,modifyandadaptmachinerycomponentswhererequired
- Maintainaccurateworkshopandservicedocumentation
- Followworkplacesafety,environmentalandqualityprocedures
- Communicateprofessionallywithteammembersandcustomers
- Participateinseasonalon-callarrangementswhenrequired
- Supportthereliableoperationofagriculturalmachineryacrosscriticalfarmingperiods

Requirements & Eligibility

- Trade-qualifiedHeavyDieselMechanicwithCertificateIIIinMobilePlantTechnologyoranequivalentqualification
- Minimum5yearsofrelevantpost-tradeexperience
- Demonstratedexperienceworkingwithagriculturalmachineryisessential
- Experiencewithbroadacre,cropping,livestockormixed-farmingequipmentishighlyregarded
- Strongmechanical,hydraulic,electricalanddiagnosticcapabilities
- Abilitytotroubleshootfaultsandcompleterepairswithminimalsupervision
- Comfortableworkingacrossbothworkshopandoutdoorfieldenvironments
- Physicallycapableofworkinginruralconditionsandduringseasonalperiods
- StrongEnglishcommunicationskillsandabilitytocommunicatefluentlyinEnglish
- Currentdriver'slicence,withHRlicencehighlyregarded
- Reliable,safety-focusedandcommittedapproachtowork
