About the role We're after a motorcyclist with a genuine passion for bikes who's ready to take real ownership of how the store runs day to day. Reporting to the Store Manager, this full-time role is your chance to step up from the floor into a position where your organisation and leadership actually shape the store's success — rosters sorted before the week starts, stock where it needs to be, standards held day in, day out. You'll bring your passion for bikes to the floor with a customer-first mindset, and we'll back you with the product knowledge and training to grow into the role.

This role works Monday to Friday, plus every third weekend on a rotating basis (Saturday and Sunday), with weekdays off in lieu.

Key responsibilities

n

Building and managing the weekly roster to budget, covering leave and peak periods

n

Keeping stock moving promptly from the warehouse onto the floor, rostering around the monthly stock delivery

n

Overseeing opening and closing procedures, cash handling, and daily admin

n

Keeping the shop floor, window displays and back-of-house clean, tidy and merchandised to standard

n

Following agreed processes and procedures, and making sure the team does too

n

Making the call on day-to-day issues yourself,



and following through on what's agreed without needing to be chased

n

Driving sales on the floor and setting the standard for customer service

n

Coaching and supporting newer team members, and flagging performance issues early

n

About you

n

Must be a motorcyclist with a genuine passion for bikes

n

Full-time availability across weekdays, plus every 3rd weekend on a rotating basis

n

Solid retail or sales experience, ideally in motorcycle or a related industry

n

Naturally organised — you build systems, use checklists, and don't let things slip

n

Confident driving sales targets and comfortable coaching junior team members

n

Comfortable with (or a fast learner on) rostering, stock control, and POS systems

n
