We are hiring " IT Project Manager " for one of our clients . We offer a wide gamut of consulting solutions customized to our 450+ clients ranging from Fortune 500/1000 to Start-ups across various verticals like Technology, Financial Services, Healthcare, Life Sciences, Oil & Gas, Energy, Retail, Telecom, Utilities, Technology, Manufacturing, the Internet, and Engineering.
Job Summary
Position : IT Project Manager
Location : Sydney
Full Time: 6 Months contract with possibility of extension
Essential Functions Of The Job
n The " IT Project Manager with experience leading Finance projects in the Treasury or Regulatory Reporting domain. They must be initiatives focused on improving internal reporting and management information

n

Qualifications Basic
n Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Finance/Commerce/Accounting and/or a CA/CPA qualification / Prince2 or PMI qualifications.

Required Skills and Responsibilities

Responsibilities:

- Delivering the project in accordance with a best-practise project governance framework
n
- End to end project and work stream management
n
- Managing cross functional relationships (including at the executive level) across the all business units within the group and take ownership of key client engagement for the project
n




- Partnering with relevant operating groups (including but not limited to technology) to deliver the project, developing and implementing appropriate solutions.
n
- Timely identification and triage of project issues and risks
n
- Managing project budgets to tolerance.
n

Skills:

- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
n
- Extensive project management experience, leading finance projects, preferably in the treasury or regulatory reporting domains
n
- Ability to coordinate multiple assignments and work independently
n
- Ability to motivate and influence project stakeholders
n
- Versatile skill set and confident approach to tackling issues
n
- Experience motivating, leading and influencing project teams
n
- The drive and desire to continually improve the role and function
n
- A 'can do' attitude, with a proven record of delivering project outcomes
