About the role The Finance Manager will be responsible for overseeing all financial aspects of the company, including accounting, reporting, budgeting, contracts admin and compliance. The successful candidate will work closely with the leadership group and play a hands on role in shaping the next phase of growth for Homhero.

Key responsibilities

- Prepare accurate monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports

- Lead the annual budgeting process, monitor financial performance against budget, and maintain effective approval processes

- Fortnightly payment of staff and consultants, and monthly payment of creditors

- Monthly billing of all clients including optimising the automation of the billing system

- Oversee HR contracts and associated payroll admin

- Improve the automation of expense claims, payroll and creditor payment systems

- Manage and enforce revenue share agreements with 3rd parties

- Support the CEO or leadership group with special projects that require financial analysis

About you

- Degree in Accounting, Finance, Commerce, or a related discipline

- CPA, CA, or equivalent professional qualification





- Minimum 3 - 5 years of accounting firm experience and a desire to now move into commerce

- Confidence in being able to perform or quickly learn the requirements of this role

- Experience in budgeting, forecasting, use of accounting systems (Xero or similar), and financial analysis

- Advanced Google Sheets (or Excel) skills

- Knowledge of key Australian taxation and corporate compliance requirements

- Valuable interpersonal skills
