About the Agency The Australian Digital Health Agency leads the national effort to digitally enable Australia’s health system. We support the delivery of person-centred, connected healthcare through the development and adoption of digital health services and systems. Our work includes managing My Health Record, Electronic prescriptions, and the 1800MEDICARE app, ensuring a healthier future for all Australians through connected healthcare.

About the Role The Finance Policy Officer plays a key role in supporting the Australian Digital Health Agency's financial governance framework by developing and maintaining financial policies, providing high-quality financial policy advice, delivering financial management training, and supporting the implementation of the Agency's Net Zero Strategy. The position contributes to strong financial stewardship, compliance with legislative requirements, and continuous improvement across the Agency's financial management practices.

Skills and Experience

- Lead the review, development and maintenance of the Agency's financial policy framework, ensuring compliance with legislative requirements and supporting effective financial governance.
- Provide high-quality financial policy advice to stakeholders, applying sound judgement, analytical skills and a strong understanding of financial management principles to resolve complex issues.
- Develop and deliver financial management training, guidance and education programs to build organisational capability and improve understanding of financial obligations across the Agency.
- Support the implementation and ongoing enhancement of the Agency's Net Zero Strategy,



while identifying opportunities for continuous improvement and managing associated risks.
- Build and maintain productive relationships with internal and external stakeholders, effectively influencing outcomes, managing competing priorities and facilitating collaboration to achieve strategic objectives.
- Demonstrate strong research, problem-solving and communication skills, with the ability to work independently, manage complex policy matters and deliver quality outcomes in a energetic environment.

Salary: $101,379 - $114,373 plus 15.4% superannuation
