This is an exciting role to join ASX listed REIT reporting into the Head Of Finance. The Financial Controller – Managed Funds Is responsible for all operating and financial control aspects the portfolio. This includes month end close, statutory compliance and audit, treasury management and debt compliance, unit pricing, tax and distributions & has 4x direct reports in the team.

The role also involves supporting the business on strategic initiatives including current Fund establishment, asset acquisitions and dispositions, capital raises and refinancings. There will also be a strong focus on implementation of process improvement and system projects across the Managed Funds finance team in order to support the growth of the Managed Funds portfolio.

Key Activities and Responsibilities

- Delivery of timely and accurate month end close process across the Managed Funds. This includes;

o Oversight and review of outsourced providers (agencies and other external agents)



outputs and work to ensure asset level information is reported in a timely and accurate manner o Delivery of fund level accounting resulting in delivery of Profit & Loss, Balance Sheet (and associated reconciliations) and Cashflow each month.
- Ensure the delivery of month end unit prices, distributions and financial information for quarterly reports in line with the required timeframes for each fund.
- Ensure compliance with any financial reporting requirements of managed fund governing documents.
- Assist with the provision of information for valuations of properties within the managed funds, and drive the valuation.
- Provide information for board reporting as required in line with agreed deadlines.
- Manage the year end and half year end statutory financial reporting preparation and audit requirements across the Managed Fund portfolio.
- Manage all income tax related activities for the Funds.

Candidates from a strong Financial Controller background in Managed Funds will be highly desirable. CA/CPA qualified, 10x years experience.
