Woods & Co Recruitment have partnered with a rapidly growing Australian business seeking a highly organised and proactive Fleet Coordinator to join their operations team.
Working with major organisations across Australia, the business coordinates transport and field-based services through a growing national network. With significant growth underway and new contracts secured, they are looking for a Fleet Coordinator to take ownership of the day-to-day management and coordination of their fleet operations.
This is a fast-paced role suited to someone who thrives on problem-solving, enjoys working with people and has a strong understanding of transport, logistics and fleet coordination. You will play a key role in ensuring vehicles, drivers and daily operations run efficiently across the business.

What do you do?
- Coordinate and manage the day-to-day operations of the company fleet nationally
- Schedule and allocate drivers, vehicles and jobs based on operational requirements
- Monitor vehicle availability, servicing, maintenance and compliance requirements
- Manage schedule changes, breakdowns, delays and last-minute operational needs
- Communicate effectively with drivers, customers and internal teams throughout the day
- Maintain accurate fleet, scheduling and operational records
- Assist with identifying opportunities to improve fleet efficiency and utilisation
- Ensure all fleet-related activities are completed safely, efficiently and in line with company requirements
What do you need?
- Experience in fleet coordination, transport coordination, logistics, dispatch or operations
- Previous experience coordinating drivers, vehicles, couriers, technicians or field-based teams
- Robust organisational and time-management skills
- Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities
- Confident managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
- Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain accurate records
- Experience with fleet management systems or scheduling software is highly regarded
- A proactive and hands-on approach to operational challenges
