Role Description The Fire Technician role is a full-time, in office position based in Myaree, WA. Day-to-day responsibilities include installing, inspecting, testing, and maintaining fire extinguishers, fire suppression systems, and other life safety equipment in accordance with relevant standards and company procedures.

The Fire

Technician will diagnose and troubleshoot faults, perform repairs, and ensure systems remain compliant, reliable, and ready for emergency use. The role involves completing accurate service reports, coordinating with team members and clients on scheduled work,



and adhering to all safety policies and quality control measures.

Technician may also support system commissioning, assist in upgrades, and provide basic guidance to customers on safe and effective use of equipment.

Qualifications

- Candidates should possess skills in Fire Extinguisher selection, installation, inspection, and servicing.
- Candidates should possess skills in Fire Suppression Systems, including installation, testing, and routine maintenance.
- Candidates should possess skills in Fire Safety and Life Safety practices, including understanding of relevant codes and standards.
- Candidates should possess skills in Troubleshooting fire protection systems and related equipment issues.
- Certificate or trade qualification in fire protection, electrical, mechanical, or a related field is beneficial.
- Experience in field service or technician roles, preferably within fire protection or building services.
- Strong attention to detail, ability to follow procedures, and commitment to safety and compliance.
- Valid driver’s license and ability to work on-site across customer locations as required.
- Effective communication skills and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
