Our valued client is a well-established industry leader specialising in the supply of commercial ceiling and wall systems across Australia and New Zealand.

With their head office and wholesale operations based in Smithfield, NSW, they are currently seeking a reliable and experienced Forklift Driver / Storeperson to join their busy warehouse team.

About the Role:

This is a hands-on warehouse position, with approximately 70-80% of the role focused on forklift operations and general stores duties.

You will play an important role in ensuring stock is safely received, stored, picked and dispatched efficiently.

Key Responsibilities:

- Operating a counterbalance forklift to safely move, load and unload stock
- Loading and unloading incoming and outgoing deliveries
- Picking, packing and preparing customer orders for dispatch
- Receiving, checking and putting away incoming stock
- Moving, organising and maintaining stock within the warehouse
- Assisting with stock control and general stores duties
- Ensuring products are handled and stored safely
- Assisting with manual handling and heavier items when required
- Maintaining a clean, tidy and organised warehouse
- Following all workplace health and safety procedures
- Working collaboratively with the wider warehouse and operations team





About You:

We are looking for someone who is reliable, safety-conscious and physically capable, with a strong work ethic and a willingness to get involved in all aspects of warehouse operations.

To be successful in this role, you will have:

- A current forklift licence
- Demonstrated counterbalance forklift experience
- Previous experience in a warehouse, stores, logistics or distribution environment
- The ability to safely perform manual handling and some heavy lifting
- A strong commitment to workplace health and safety
- Good attention to detail and organisational skills
- A positive attitude and reliable work ethic
- The ability to work both independently and as part of a team
- Full availability Monday to Friday - 7am - 3.30pm
