About Us

Perth Coffee Exchange is a growing online coffee retailer helping people across Australia discover great coffee from independent Australian roasters.

We work with a variety of roasters and hundreds of coffees, fulfilling online orders, subscriptions and curated coffee boxes from our Booragoon warehouse.

We’re looking for a hands-on Fulfilment Team Lead to take ownership of our day-to-day fulfilment operation and help keep our small team running smoothly.

The Opportunity

This isn’t a desk-based management role.

You’ll be actively picking and packing orders, receiving stock and preparing for shifts, while also being the person who keeps the day organised, sets priorities and makes decisions when something doesn’t go to plan.

On higher-volume days, you’ll lead our casual fulfilment team during their shifts — making sure priorities are explicit, orders get out the door and the warehouse is set up well for what comes next.

The goal is easy:

Make sure the right orders leave accurately and on time, while keeping the team and warehouse organised for what comes next.

What You’ll Be Doing

- Lead the daily fulfilment workflow and set priorities for the team
- Work hands-on picking, packing and dispatching customer orders
- Make sure orders are ready for our daily courier collection
- Make sensible decisions around order issues, stock shortages and delays
- Coordinate with our customer support team where required
- Receive and process incoming coffee deliveries
- Coordinate stock preparation
- Maintain stock rotation, warehouse organisation and quality standards
- Guide and support casual fulfilment team members
- Identify problems early and make sensible decisions to keep things moving
- Use quieter periods to prepare the warehouse so future days run more efficiently




- Contribute ideas to improve our fulfilment processes as we grow

Who We’re Looking For

You don’t need to have managed a warehouse before.

You may currently be a:

- Fulfilment team member ready to step up
- Warehouse or dispatch team leader
- Retail supervisor
- Café or hospitality supervisor
- Ecommerce fulfilment coordinator
- Small-team shift leader

We’re more interested in how you think and work than your exact background.

You’ll probably suit us if you:

- Take ownership rather than waiting to be told what to do
- Can quickly work out what needs to happen first
- Can follow and understand established systems, while also identifying sensible improvements
- Stay calm when several things are happening at once
- Communicate clearly and enjoy working in a small team
- Have strong attention to detail
- Are comfortable making straightforward operational decisions
- Notice problems before they become bigger problems
- Are physically comfortable working on your feet and lifting boxes
- Are comfortable using computers and learning new systems
- Are reliable and available Monday–Friday

And What About Coffee?

You definitely don’t need to be a coffee expert.

But we’d love someone who genuinely enjoys coffee or is curious about learning more about it.

Taking an interest in what we sell and absorbing the information around you will naturally make you more versatile within the business — particularly when helping customers or taking on broader responsibilities.

If you enjoy learning about different coffees, roasters and how people brew at home, we’ll help you build that knowledge.

- The team can rely on you to keep the operation moving

Hours

Approximately 30–35 hours per week across Monday–Friday, during daytime hours.

Monday availability is essential as this is our busiest fulfillment day.

Some additional hours may be available during peak periods such as Christmas and as the business grows.
