Because one of the most valuable skills in this role isn't only writing software. It's helping non-technical people understand technical concepts. You'll be expected to work directly with clients, uncover requirements, estimate solutions, explain trade-offs and build trust.

You need to be comfortable translating complexity into clarity. Not everyone can do that. The developer we’re looking for can.

We're excited about what AI is doing for software development. We're also cautious.





We don't want developers who think AI will replace critical thinking. We want developers who know how to use AI to accelerate development while still taking responsibility for architecture, security, performance and code quality.

If you've got strong views on AI generated code because you've actually used it, tested it, challenged it and learnt from it, we'll probably have some great conversations.

For the developers still reading...

You probably want to know what you'll actually be building. You'll be working with modern web and mobile technologies, building solutions that combine:

- Laravel and PHP

- React and Vue

- TypeScript and modern JavaScript

- Linux infrastructure

- Docker

You'll be writing code. Reviewing code. Testing code. Deploying code. Fixing code. Refactoring code you wrote six months ago and wondering what past-you was thinking.
