We're looking for a Software Engineer to help drive an in-house digital transformation portal program forward — a genuinely high-visibility, digital-first initiative streamlining business processes, sharpening data capability, and improving how regulatory services get delivered online.

You'll bring technical leadership to a small, high-performing IT project team that works hand-in-glove with the business — writing optimised code, overseeing development quality, and shaping the front-end and full-stack architecture behind Power Platform, Dynamics 365 and Azure-integrated solutions. Key Responsibilities

- Oversee software development projects and provide technical leadership to a team of software engineers.
- Write optimised, high-quality code and take responsibility for the functionality of everything your team ships.
- Build solutions using Microsoft Dynamics 365, Dataverse and the Power Platform, including Power Pages.
- Develop modern front-end experiences using JavaScript/TypeScript, HTML, CSS and frameworks such as Vue.js.
- Deliver full-stack solutions with C#, .NET, REST APIs, JSON and SQL, integrating front-end applications with backend services.
- Work with Azure and Power Platform integration technologies — API Management, Azure Functions, Logic Apps and Power Automate.
- Apply established application architectures, development patterns and reusable components,



using Azure DevOps, source control and CI/CD practices.
- Collaborate closely within a multidisciplinary delivery team, bringing robust analytical and problem-solving skills to every conversation.

Essential

- Demonstrated experience developing solutions using Microsoft Dynamics 365, Dataverse and the Power Platform, including Power Pages.
- Strong front-end development skills using JavaScript/TypeScript, HTML and CSS, with experience in modern frameworks such as Vue.js.
- Strong full-stack development skills, including C#, .NET, REST APIs, JSON and SQL, and integrating front-end applications with backend services.
- Experience with Azure and Power Platform integration technologies, such as API Management, Azure Functions, Logic Apps and Power Automate.
- Experience with established application architectures, development patterns and reusable components, including Azure DevOps, source control and CI/CD practices.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving and communication skills, with demonstrated experience working collaboratively within multidisciplinary delivery teams.

Desirable

- Experience with AI and intelligent automation technologies, such as Azure AI, Microsoft Copilot, AI Builder, generative AI or agent-based solutions.
- Relevant Microsoft certifications across Power Platform, Dynamics 365, Azure or AI will be highly regarded.

You are required to be based in Canberra and already have Baseline Security Clearance in order to qualify for this role.
