We specialise in Fertility, Macular Degeneration, Oncology, Compounding and other unique clinical services which are offered to a wide variety of health clinics across Australia.

About the role

Due to expansion, we have a new Full-Time Compounding Technician position available at our Spring Hill store!

As part of this role, you will compound and dispense personalised medications tailored to individual patients under the supervision our experienced Compounding Pharmacists. Additionally, you will assist in customer inquiries, collaborate with fellow pharmacists/technicians, healthcare professionals and manage stock levels.

Success in this position requires excellent interpersonal abilities, time management skills, meticulous attention to detail, and a genuine desire to assist others.

The ideal candidate should be well-presented, possess solid communication skills, demonstrate a willingness to learn, quickly adapt to new skills and processes, work independently, and collaborate effectively with others.





Candidates who are dispensary technicians/assistants or have hands-on non-sterile compounding experience are highly regarded but not mandatory. New employees undergo in a customised training program designed to equip them with the essential skills needed to thrive in their role.

Responsibilities

- Provide a high standard of customer service

- Prepare and dispense compounds and formulations under the supervision of the compounding pharmacist

- Assisting the pharmacist with accurately dispensing prescriptions using Compounding Direct software.

- Process compounding orders and unpack stock as required

Skills and Experience

- Have completed non-sterile compounding training course through Medisca or PCCA (advantageous but not mandatory)

- Have customer service experience working in a pharmacy setting (advantageous but not mandatory)

- Must be able to work autonomously

- Great communication and computer skills

- Demonstrated ability to learn new skills and concepts quickly as well as working under pressure

- Strong problem-solving skills and adaptability

- Positive approach to developing new skills and take on new challenges

- Organisational and excellent time management skills

- Work well within a team setting
