? We’re hiring: Functional Automation Tester — Dynamics 365 & Power Platform | Canberra | Federal Government Contract

Capital IT Consulting is seeking a Functional Automation Tester to join a Federal Government agency’s Testing Practice, supporting a major digital transformation across Microsoft Dynamics 365 and Power Platform applications.

What you’ll do

? Deliver manual and automated testing across Dynamics 365 and Power Platform (Power Pages, Power Apps, Dataverse)

? Design, build, run and maintain automated regression tests across UI and API/integration layers

? Embed tests into CI/CD pipelines (Azure DevOps) so they run automatically on build and release

? Analyse requirements, design test scenarios, manage defects and validate end-to-end business processes

? Work independently across multiple concurrent projects within a high-performing testing team

What you’ll bring

▪️ Proven testing of Dynamics 365 / Power Platform apps (Power Pages,



Power Apps, Dataverse)

▪️ UI, functional, integration, system, regression and UAT experience with solid test methodology

▪️ UI automation with Playwright, Selenium, EasyRepro or similar

▪️ API/integration automation with Postman/Newman, REST Assured or Playwright API testing

▪️ CI/CD integration (Azure DevOps), VS Code, source control, defect & test management, SDLC/Agile

Nice to have: ISTQB Automation certification; in-depth Dynamics 365 / Dataverse / Power Platform / Power BI experience; and Jira for test and defect management.
