Arafura Moving and Storage Pty has the advantages of operating as a small business where you are treated as a person and not just a number.

We are seeking fulltime, part time and casual MR or above truck drivers, C class license holders as offsiders or subcontractors willing to join our Darwin based team.

The role has potential for long term development and training within the relocation industry.

Your new role

- Packing: Wrapping fragile items, boxing goods, and labeling boxes securely.
- Lifting and Loading: Moving heavy items using straps, trolleys, or proper lifting techniques.

- Driving: Operating removal trucks, vans, or utes to transport items.
- Unloading: Placing furniture at the new location and removing packing debris.
- Admin Work: Checking inventories and noting any damages or discrepancies.

*Must be able to read and write english to complete paperwork required and basic knowledge of mobile device apps.
- Be able to work 25-50 Hours per week in and out of the tropical temperature's of the NT.
- Early start times
- Available for travel is essential for remote work, including overnight stays in remote towns and communities, via road, small aircraft and commercial flights.

*Customer Service focused and attention to detail with the ability to think on your feet and problem solve.





Key Skills Needed

- Physical Strength: Stamina and fitness to handle heavy lifting all day.
- Teamwork: Working well with a crew to move items safely.
- Licensing: A valid driver's licence or truck licence.
