A well established global organisation specialising in workplace safety products and solutions, with a strong international presence and a long history of protecting people working in high risk environments. The organisation operates across a range of industries including manufacturing, mining, construction, utilities and other industrial environments.
The Australian business is part of a larger global organisation and is continuing to focus on maintaining high standards across quality, safety and continuous improvement.
About the Role
This is a great opportunity for a junior to mid level QHSE professional who is ready to take the next step and have genuine ownership across both Quality and EHS. Working as a stand alone QHSE function, you will work closely with the local leadership and operational teams to support strong safety outcomes while managing the end to end quality function.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Supporting the business to achieve robust EHS outcomes and continue developing a positive safety culture
- Managing quality from supplier through to customer
- Managing supplier quality and manufacturing process quality
- Maintaining the ISO 9001 quality management system
- Coordinating internal and external audits
- Working closely with Operations and Manufacturing Engineering
- Providing practical QHSE advice and support across the business About You
- We are looking for someone who has developed a solid foundation in Quality, Safety or QHSE and is ready to step into a role with greater ownership. You may currently be working as a Quality Coordinator, Quality Advisor,
QA/QC professional or QHSE Coordinator and be ready for your next challenge. Ideally, you will have:
- Experience in manufacturing, engineering or an operational environment
- Good understanding of ISO 9001
- Experience supporting internal and external audits
- Knowledge of quality control and analytical tools
- Exposure to root cause analysis and continuous improvement
- Understanding of Operations or Manufacturing Engineering
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
- A practical and solutions focused approach
- The confidence to work autonomously You do not need to be a senior QHSE Manager for this opportunity. We are particularly interested in someone who is hands on, commercially aware and keen to continue developing their career. What s on Offer
