Project Manager to work with a leading global investment management company in Sydney CBD

A leading global investment management organisation is seeking an experienced Project Manager to support a range of high-profile transformation initiatives within its Australian business. With a strong international presence and a focus on delivering innovative investment solutions, the organisation is undergoing several strategic projects across fund operations and product implementation.
Your new role
As Project Manager, you will lead a portfolio of critical initiatives focused on fund onboarding, product launches, custodian transitions and Responsible Entity (RE) changes. Working across both local and global teams, you will be responsible for end-to-end project delivery, ensuring operational readiness, managing risks and issues, and coordinating a broad range of internal and external stakeholders.
This is a hands-on delivery role where you'll work closely with Operations, Legal, Compliance, Product teams, custodians and external service providers to ensure projects are delivered on time, within scope and in line with Australian regulatory requirements.
What you'll need to succeed

- Proven Project Management experience within Asset Management, Funds Management or Wealth Management.
- Demonstrated experience delivering fund launches, fund onboarding,



custodian transitions, RE transfers or related investment operations projects.
- Strong understanding of Australian fund operations and the regulatory framework governing managed investment schemes.
- Experience managing multiple workstreams and stakeholders simultaneously.
- Ability to engage, influence and build credibility with senior executives, operational teams and external partners.
- Excellent project governance skills, including project planning, risk and issue management, reporting and steering committee engagement.
- Relevant Project Management certifications such as PRINCE2, PMBOK or Agile are highly regarded.
- RG146 or equivalent financial services qualifications will be highly advantageous
