The property

Set on the banks of the Swan River within the Forrest Hall precinct and close to the University of Western Australia, Wonil Hotel Perth is a 66 room boutique hotel with a strong connection to place. As Australia's first Handwritten Collection hotel, Wonil celebrates individuality, character and thoughtful hospitality.

The hotel features beautifully designed rooms and suites, most with balconies and views across the Swan River and Perth skyline. West Kitchen and Bar is an 80 seat restaurant showcasing regional flavours, locally sourced produce and Western Australian wines, complemented by an outdoor terrace that can host unique events for up to 100 guests.

Wonil takes its name from the Noongar word for the peppermint tree traditionally found along the riverbank. Through its unique operating model, net revenue from the hotel is reinvested into the Forrest Research Foundation, supporting current and future scholars and fellows. This gives Wonil a genuine sense of purpose, where commercial success contributes directly to research, education and the broader Western Australian community.

- Protect the owner asset through disciplined maintenance, capital planning, risk management and responsible use of resources.

- Maintain excellent product, service and presentation standards while maximising revenue, balancing expenses and meeting all relevant safety, compliance, brand and Accor requirements.

- Protect and elevate the quality, reputation and long term performance of Wonil Hotel Perth.
