Confidential Prospect: General Manager, Specialist Contracting Division (WA)

Keystone People Solutions is retained by an established Western Australian business to identify a General Manager for its contracting division, on a strictly confidential basis.

About the Opportunity

Our client operates a specialist contracting division delivering installation solutions for civil, resources and water infrastructure projects across Western Australia. This is a senior leadership appointment with full P&L; accountability, reporting directly to the Managing Director.

About the Role

You will lead the division's strategy, safety performance and commercial outcomes, overseeing estimating, project delivery and installation teams, while building relationships with major clients and principal contractors across the state.

What You'll Do

- Own the division's P&L;, including budgeting, forecasting and margin management
- Set and execute a growth strategy across new markets and client relationships
- Lead estimating, project management and installation teams
- Champion a strong safety culture across office,



workshop and site based teams
- Oversee tendering, contract risk and supplier and subcontractor relationships
- Manage key client and principal contractor relationships
- Report divisional performance to executive leadership

About You

- 10+ years senior leadership experience in civil, geotechnical or specialist contracting
- Proven P&L; and commercial management track record
- Experience leading multidisciplinary teams across office and site
- Strong stakeholder management and business development capability
- Sound WHS leadership in a construction or contracting environment
- WA driver's licence and willingness to travel to project sites
